We can’t turn lead into gold, but our members are making color alchemy! They have used surprising and playful color combinations to create limitless versions of the Alchemy BOM quilt. Something magical is happening here and see every new block in the slideshow below.
Each month adds a new ring around the previous one and the colors change the design as we go. We’ve captured all of the mesmerizing quilts in progress in our slideshow below. True alchemy? Maybe. Surprising, jaw-dropping color combinations? Oh, yeah.
The three-part equation is simple: One part quilter, one part creativity and one part playful color. When we mix these together, fresh combinations take shape. Members can use my pre-set colorways or riff on their own versions, like this one by Liesbeth T.,

MAKING COLOR ALCHEMY WITH FABRIC PULLS
Our Make Modern Triangles members post their fabric pulls in our Triangle Chatter community when they plan their BOM quilts. All rainbow palettes but no two alike. Impossibly true and I love it!
