Summer sewing is all about timing: sewing in between traveling, holidays and when the weather too nice to stay inside or too hot to go out.
My summer sewing happens when the kids go to summer camps. They’re happy being kids on their break while mom sews from sunup to sundown, with breaks for cool sips.
Check out the slideshow below for members made progress on their Echo BOM Month 6 blocks. And some even made three months of blocks in one month, like Charlotte C.!

One of our new members Ann S. put together the free Scrappy Whirligig block with freezer paper piecing. So pretty!

Month 6 Mastery
Month 6 blocks made members feel they have mastered freezer paper piecing. While this block only looks complicated, our members enjoyed this summer sewing. And they are seeing real progress on their design walls! As you can see in the slideshow below, the blocks are filling in and revealing more of the oblong medallion.

Enjoy the show full of color and taking on the shape of the final quilt. So exciting to see their progress!
