BOM blocks rarely look the same when quilters use their own color palettes and creativity. We’re all making the same blocks, but you wouldn’t know it. Get the close up view of our Make Modern Triangles members’ BOM blocks in the slideshow at the bottom.
MAKING PROGRESS SPARKS CREATIVITY
Finishing a set of BOM blocks is a mixture of giddy relief, plus, a big tada moment. You’re already jazzed about making progress, and then you HAVE to play with them, right?
Make Modern Triangles member, Lori B., saw the patterns in her Echo BOM blocks and made pretty hexagons. Love this! (um, can I “borrow” this for a quilt design?)

You’d never know that Gayle K.’s block is the same block, unless you’re THIS close-up.

Same…made by Gwen M.

Karen H. added her Echo BOM blocks to her design board. You can’t see the seams, but yup, it’s the same block.

And yup again, same block below made by Iral.

Alli H. made extras for her own project. Same block in violet. Tada!

Karla’s blocks (left) and Barb’s blocks (right) are REALLY the same block. Can you tell?

These little layouts lead to new ideas and quilts. I’m always awed by our members creativity.
NEW BLOCKS FOR Make Modern Triangles MEMBERS
I can’t stop playing with ideas or designing blocks either. Recently, I uploaded a new star design into the members’ library. I’m pretty excited about the possibilities. Here are several stars our members have made. What would you make with this block? Let me know in the comments – I’m still playing with the quilt design.

BOM BLOCKS Slideshow time!
I’ve made you wait long enough. Check out the close up and colorful quilts in the works. I’m so proud of our members’ progress. Tada!
