Colorful member makes are taking shape in our Aurora Block of the Month program. I’m excited to show you all the members’ versions busting out the color!
And not just color. Finishes, too!
Colorful Finishes
Maureen P.’s Solstice BOM started with colorful inspiration. Then, she translated the palette onto her coloring page.
Playing with a set of finished blocks is a reward in itself.
And the big TA DA finish! Congrations, Maureen! A sensational Solstice!
A Confidence-Building finish
Kristie M. started with a “starter” project, Magic Mini Freezer Paper Piecing. Confidence-builder and quick TA DA maker, the Magic Mini never disappoints. Congratulations, Kristie!
Oh, gosh, there’s more! Here are are just a few of the Aurora BOM quilts progress in the group. Watch the slideshow below for more member makes.
Happy Quilting!

P.S. Did you notice how I use radial symmetrical designs in the Make Modern Triangles BOM quilts? They look complex but nooooo…I use no y-seam construction methods and freezer paper piecing. Super fancy-looking without the fancy footwork.
