Making progress for the BIG finish! Month 9 blocks complete the quilt’s main design so we’re super motivated to get ’em done. We’re soooo close! See our in-progress trunk slideshow below.
And, at this time of year, as block of the month quilts are nearly finished and the year is starting to wind down (shoutout to (almost) finished quilts from Heather, Debbie, Donnalea, Carolyn, Cindy, Kate, and Linda!) proving that progress – even in small steps – gets the quilt made.
Making progress defined
I’d like to erase the phrase “I’m so behind” from my vocabulary and replace it with “I’m making progress at my own pace”. And I would have to practice the new phrase really often to make progress!
Truly, progress is yours alone to define.
For example, Esme D. decided to make a set of blocks EACH week. Eeeekers! Here is the first set of blocks…
Some members have a few months completed but took a break because life happens. Whether you’re a turtle or a rabbit, you be you at your own pace.
BIG FINISHES
Cindy N. made a quilt from Scrappy Whirligig blocks and boy, she made it sparkle!
Heather O. completed the Solstice BOM quilt in the Autumn color palette. Take a look at the back, too. TADA!
