April showers ARE RAINING BLOCKS OF ALL KINDS
April showers are raining blocks in the Make Modern Triangles Club. Month 4 of the Echo BOM is a bit more challenging and members showed they could weather the storm.
Members are also working on the Magic Mini as an intro to freezer paper piecing (you’ll see several in the slideshow below). Part confidence booster and part pretty wall hanging, it’s an irresistible project with the right amount of time to make it doable.
We’ve had plenty of rainy days during April where I live. Dreary, gray days are mood busters unless you sew right through them. Rain keeps me inside…inside my sewing room. So I’m grateful for rain in more ways than one.
April showers will definitely bring us flowers AND MORE BLOCKS from Month 5 of the Echo BOM. So let’s celebrate members’ blocks! Keep it going!

Members are also making other BOM quilts inside the club, like Solstice, a very popular quilt with new members.

Our members have been “sewing up a storm” (oh, I’m so punny) in April and I’m excited to show you. Click on the slideshow link below to see all the pretties.

It’s WOW TIME! See the current Member Makes
Not only do our Make Modern Triangle members bust out the blocks, they are also big time encouragers, cheerleaders and guidance counselors. They hand out “atta girls”, the best tips, and the infamous “that happened to me, too and here’s what I did”. We’re better together! Thank you, amazing members for the beautiful show!
