Echo BOM Month 3 blocks are bouncing off the sewing room walls and into our community posts. We gathered up the photos so you can see all the quilts, blocks and works in progress in the slideshow below. Sqeeeeeeee to the inth degree!

Month 3 is like a Wednesday in the work week. By this time in the BOM, you’re feeling less like a newbie and more like a piecing pro. You are officially over the hump and you’ve got this!

SOLSTICE TA DA MOments
We’ve got quilt finishes, top finishes and blocks…blocks…blocks.
First, let’s give out some hollers to our quilt finishers! Solstice BOM has been a popular make among members, as evidenced by the slew of finishes this month.
Heather O. had other plans for her quilt but her husband liked it so much that it’s staying. She used the Summer colorway for her Solstice. Look closely at the wavy spiral quilting on the back – so beautifully done. Congratulations on your big TA DA MOMENT Heather!

Patricia H. made her quilt for her son. She said that she enjoyed learning new techniques and is looking forward to making another one. Patricia used a one-color palette and straight line quilting to emphasize the piecing. Stunning!
It’s your big TA DA MOMENT, Patricia! Always one to cheer others on in the group, we’re celebrating you today. Congratulations!

Shanda D. finished her Solstice with the spicy colorway with magenta, coral, and pinks. Fantastic finish! Check out the pantograph quilting – a beautiful choice! It’s your BIG TA DA MOMENT, Shanda and you did it! Congratulations!

AuRORA and STARGAZER FINISHES
Kathleen P. used straight line quilting that emphasized the diagonal directions for a beautiful effect. She mastered curved piecing in Month 8 (to her relief!) and posted “FINALLY FINISHED”. Congratulations on your big TA DA MOMENT, Kathleen! You did it!

Lori B. made Stargazer her own by using an analogous color palette with pink, red and purple. You did it and it’s beautiful! Congratulations, Lori!
