Members celebrate Cosmos month 8 makes while sewing, celebrating an …waiting.
Yes, waiting.
But there’s no waiting for you to see the month 8 blocks and finishes. I added a slideshow below which is pure eye candy. Scroll down and click on the link if waiting isn’t your thing.
Sew, celebrate then…wait
If you’ve done a Block of the Month program, you KNOW that sometimes you have to wait for the next block. Like slow ketchup or the first day of spring.
Iral Inman summed up the sew-celebrate-wait cycle:
“I just couldn’t wait to put my Cosmos together. What a fun project; hope for more like it.”
Iral couldn’t wait and she sewed her blocks together!
I can’t say that I blame her!
Still, Month 8 was pretty sweet because:
- The LAST block was released August 1
- Members saw their coloring page layouts materialize (hehe) in real life
- We celebrated some beautiful blocky progress and quilt finishes!
This month (officially #9), we are cutting out the filler triangles and sewing rows together (No y-seams. Really!)
Month 8 makes and finishes
Baby steps, big steps or slow and steady, we saw LOTS of ta-da moments this month.
Congratulations Barb M! She finished her Sparkler top and she’s holding it up high! Ta-da!
Congratulations to Rudiger B. for completing the Stargazer BOM quilt! How about that color palette?
And there’s more!
