I like two of the processes: pattern choice and completion.

Choosing a color palette and fabrics, and piecing.

When you joined Make Modern Triangles, what did you want to learn or accomplish?
How to make better quilts. I am a self taught sewer so any teaching that I can understand and grasp is an awesome accomplishment to me.
What do you like about quilting with triangles?
They are a great way to learn to do paper piecing. This was new to me.

What has quilting taught you about yourself?
I can be taught to do new and exciting projects.

Describe your sewing stash.
Growing…and growing: I’m a serious collector and started adding fabrics to round out my color and print selections.
Describe your sewing space and what you like about it.
I have a spare bedroom that has been somewhat converted into my sewing room. I really enjoy having a place and space that is only mine.

What is your next quilting project?
Working on the Sparkler BOM. I am very far behind.
What would you like to learn next?
To be able to make my projects look professional.
What interests do you pursue when you’re not quilting?
Family time and time spent outdoors with my spouse and my dog Sadie.
