Learning IN MAKE MODERN TRIANGLES
When you joined Make Modern Triangles, what did you want to learn and/or accomplish?
I have heard of FFP (freezer paper piecing) and wanted to try it out. Really enjoying it!
What do you like about quilting with triangles?
It’s easy to do and I have fun with colors.
What’s next on your learn-to-do list?
How to use my embroidery machine to quilt my blocks on small projects.
What is your next project?
I’m hoping to make a Prism quilt. It looks like a stain glass window.

Growing…and growing: I’m a serious collector and started adding fabrics to round out my color and print selections
Describe your sewing space and what you like about it.
I have use of most of the basement for the last few years so I LOVE that I now have a large cutting table – two 6-foot tables together.
INSPIRATION
Do you belong to a quilt guild?
I’m hoping to join the one here in town since we just moved.
Where do you find inspiration for your quilting?
Facebook, local quilt stores, road trip quilt shops.
When you aren’t quilting, what interests do you enjoy?
My next favourite after quilting is reading.
