My favorite thing to do on a rainy day is sit on my Grandma's front porch swing, bundle up in a quilt and enjoy my grandma's company as the rain comes down. My Grandpa made the swing 20 or so years ago. They have two large crabapple trees in the front and a large awning to keep us dry. It is my happy place and much of that is the love of my Grandma. My sisters also think it is heaven, right there on the porch swing with Grandma. It is also my favorite thing to do on a snowy day, or even a sunny day. Thanks for a fun giveaway!

I love to read on rainy days. Once when I was a little girl, my mother helped us create a 'library' one rainy day. We set up books all around the room, put sticky notes in the back covers, and 'stamped' them as they were 'checked out'. We read all afternoon just so we could continue to check out our own books (for the stamp of course). The love of reading while listening to rain has stuck with me.
