I love October because I always sew Halloween quilt blocks! The cooler weather send me indoors in the evenings where I curl up with my sewing machine and sew, sew, sew. Yah!
A few years ago, I ran the delightfully spooky Boos and Ghouls quilt along. We had sooooo much fun with these little ghosts that I thought I would update the pattern for the blocks and put the instructions in one big blog post here, instead of five small ones. Easy to follow along and quilt along. This pattern is super easy and pretty quick project in time for Halloween.
These spooky Boos and Ghouls are pixelated Halloween quilt blocks that create two versions of ghosts. Make up your own versions by rearranging the colors in the blocks. Make the mini quilt to use as table topper, wall hanging or assemble into a treat bag tote that will last for years.

As far as materials go you don’t need much! Just: 1/2 yard assorted black fabrics, 1/2 yard assorted white fabrics, and 1 Scrap orange fabric. This is a great time to use all those black and white neutrals some of us collect… ha!
