I’ve got a pattern in Modern Quilts Unlimited. This is Pathways and you can find the pattern in Issue #20. Side note: Check out that gorgeous quilt on the cover! Swoon!
Pathways makes use of 2 Roll Ups. You know, as much as I love to play with color, deciding on a color palette can be an intensive mental ordeal. So in this case, I decided to make color selection easy, and use a preselected color palette. Sometimes, it’s nice to utilize someone else’s color palette.
Plus I saved that mental energy on sculpting the “pathways” within the quilt top. That was fun!

Just got Issue 20! I am so loving these instructions. Although I love paper foundation piecing, I’m looking forward to trying the roll ups. I’ve decided to do mine in a series of pink blushes. This one is next up on my quilt rooster! Thank you.
