Wrap Up and Winners {Modern Triangle Medallion Quilt Along}

Well this has been fun! But now it’s time for the Modern Triangle Medallion quilt along to end. 🙁

But don’t worry, the quilt along materials will still live on my website. See? It’s ok, no sobbing. It’ll be ok!

Haha, anyways, we had 3 beautiful entries for the prizes which makes my job in picking winners so easy! Each entrant gets a prize.

It is done…my first quilt along quilt. I had so much fun quilting along and making this quilt. Thank you @bryanhousequilts for hosting the quilt along on you bog. This was also the first quilt I have made using only solid fabrics..my favourite fabric is Kaffe collective, bright and busy. I learned that even when I make a coloring diagram I am going to change the colors. And I will make some blocks more that once if I don’t like the way they look I the quilt. I still don’t like paper piecing but will adapt patterns to make them paper pieced for more accurate piecing. Pretty much left the reservation with my first block fabric choices so I just kept on hiking. Loved, loved playing with the triangles as building blocks. Thanks to @bryanhousequilts for the #mtmquiltalong

It’s finally done! Between my job and studying for my October exam I didn’t know if I’d be able to fit it in but I worked hard and finished it. It was a fun challenge but I’ll be glad to take a break 🙂 #mtmquiltalong @bryanhousequilts #quiltstagram #quiltersofinstagram
