I’ll try to describe that feeling when I see members’ Aurora coloring pages:

Amazing. Awe-struck. Appreciation. So much creativity!

Then, I think ‘It’s really happening!’

Seeing a quilt design COME TO LIFE in ways I’ve never imagined. I’m always grateful you’re sewing and quilting along with me. THESE QUILTS WILL BE LIKE NOTHING I’VE SEEN BEFORE!

No pressure. HA!

The Planning Month is full of decisions and they’re fun ones. Doesn’t it help y’all (I used to live in Texas, it’s legit) to see everyone making progress? Taking out the colored pencils, trying it out, playing around?

We’re so much better together – I like to celebrate you, that and us every month. Let’s see some finishes…

FINISHES! TA-DA! TA-DONE!

When a finish pops up in the community photos, it’s another reason to celebrate. You know what it takes to finish a quilt…YOU KNOW. Maybe a few tears, a few rips, a few almost regrets (why am I doing this?!)

And always the thrill of the finish!

Cornelia A. made this exciting warm/cool color palette. Magenta paired with a fire engine red is a blockbuster. Congratulations!

Lynne S. created a bold two-color version. She went all in on playing up the hot colors with the cooler teals. Beautiful!
