Sparkler BOM Month 4 member makes are here! Month 4 features three filler blocks to complete the quilt’s center medallion. Center medallions create big *ta-da* moments around here!

Everyone makes progress in their own ways and on their timetable, not mine. I was sooo excited to see the finishes of other BOM quilts like Wildflower and Solstice. GAH! A beautiful quilt is welcome here anytime.

Celebrating Sparkler BOM MOnth 4 Member Makes

As the Sparkler BOM month 4 member makes were posted in the community, we glimpsed into the future (only this quilt’s future – sorry!) and liked what we saw! While the center medallion blocks came into view, the wait was almost made bearable.

While we seesawed between celebration and anticipation…

Our expansion block pack was released to members and they happily dug in this past month. The 12-block expansion pack features bonus modern triangle blocks. In fact, you’ll see a few below in the gallery. You will also see blocks from previous months as members join in.

This sweet, springy print triangle speaks to me!

I love yellows and value play between them. And the prints give this pattern a new look.

I am so excited for our members! You did it!

I’ve just released Month 5 – instructions for assembling the center medallion – and we’ll start our creative break this month. We’ll catch up on blocks or create new versions with Sparkler triangles in our first ever “Pillow Fight”! (I’ll post some pics next month).

We’re almost halfway there – stay tuned for more Sparkler sparkle!

    Lynn K. That solstice block is outstanding. The subtle shading of purples and greens is utterly masterful.
    I loved so many of these finished, blocks , and the ones that are on their way to completion are truely invigorating. Makes me want to get on with the baby quilt.
