Have you met Blair Stocker?
I know Blair to be an amazing artist and teacher who works wonders with value. Blair also created a really cool value finder ruler, called the Ruby Ruler. You’ll love Blair because her patterns and workshops leave plenty of room for you to leave your mark in your TRUE colors.
This week, we welcomed Blair Stocker as the featured Playful Color Artist inside the Playful Color Quilt Guild. In our conversation Blair and I talk value (of course!), color studies, working with different substrates, and more! (Members, log in here to watch our chat.)
In this post, get to know Blair and see a teeny sampling of Blair’s quilts. Finally round out your visit with Blair by finding her website or Facebook/Instagram and YouTube!
Hello Blair!
Blair Stocker left the fashion design industry when her first child was born, 22 years ago. After that, her love of textiles began to focus on making quilts and using special fabrics in them. She is online at Wise Craft Handmade, where she creates online classes, patterns, weekly videos, and quilting tools for the modern quilter. She is based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
