This week on Instagram I shared my new BFF Quilt Pattern and a few pattern testers’ versions, new fabric from Windham Fabrics, a new beginning for my little boy, and one of the MANY mistakes I made this week, and yet more fabric from Lecien.

Yesterday I thought I put white binding on a finished quilt. Then I took the quilt outside for pictures and was surprised to see the binding was off-white and just would not do. So I cut it all off and tried again. That's normal right? #labelyourwhites #l

Did you hear about the reprinting of @heatherrossinsta's #mendocinofabric with @windhamfabrics? I've been waiting for the rerelease do naturally I am over the moon to get to make a quilt for Heather's booth/catalog/ etc. Here's a little behind the scenes
Windham Fabrics is reprinting the beloved Mendocino fabric by Heather Ross. Yah! The fabric will be shipping to shops in Summer of 2016 (so so long! sorry!).

I’m making another version of the BFF quilt to show the version with unpieced arcs. The fabric is the Floral Collection of Flower Sugar for Lecien Fabrics as are the solids.
