Hi there everyone! Welcome to Sew Mama Sew’s Giveaway Day. 
In case you are a new visitor to my corner of the blogosphere here is a sampling of my creations.

Now, to the good stuff. Recently, my guild – the Houston Modern Quilt Guild – received a challenge from Denyse Schmidt(!) to take fat eighth bundles of her new line Florence (debuting at Spring Market in a few weeks) and create something.

I chose the Mosaic Colorway and went to work making a quilt. Well, I’m all finished with my Tribute Star Quilt, here’s a peak. (More details to come later this week!) 

Seeing as how I’m finished with my quilt and Florence won’t available for purchase until August (It’s not even debuted at market yet y’all!), I am offering my scraps to one of you lucky duckies. 

The loot

There are six larger pieces – one teal solid piece and 5 pieces of Florence. The larger pieces are roughly 8 by 9 inches, with selvage. 

There are several smaller pieces of the whole colorway. These strips are roughly 2 by 7 inches. 

And finally there are ten untrimmed 7 inch HST (half square triangles) left over from my quilt. 
Ok, so that’s the bundle. It’s small but not too small one couldn’t make a pillow, mug rug, or a mini-quilt. On second thought, maybe I want to make a pillow… Hmmmm, guess I’ll have to wait until August.

    Those fabrics could also make a great pouch or two with some bits left over to add in scrap quilts. Must be cool to play with fabric that isn't on the market yet!

    Wow-your work is amazing! I really love your rainbow plus quilt-the color placement is amazing! I love DS and any of her fabrics would be welcome. These pieces however, would be perfect because plan to make Sarah Fielke's North by Northeast quilt using all blues and greens by Denyse. Thanks for the chance to win!

    I think I never worked with "pre-release" fabric – would be fun and scraps are always useful – no need to be scared to cut them up.
