After the torrent of tutorial writing last week, this week calls for a bit more quiet time work. Also, I wanted an English Paper Piecing (EPP) project to fill my tote.
I had this idea in my head of wanting to work on an eight-pointed star. But I wanted to EPP and I couldn’t find any graph paper or paper pieces already made. So I had to draft my own. Which is mathy.
That’s ok. I like mathy. Actually I love mathy, especially drafting new patterns. Not that other mathy. *glares and points at tax mathy*
Anyways, I’ve got three stars complete so far. I’m going for a happy scrappy look – a challenge for me. By the way, I could use some input here. Does anyone know what this star is called? Or if anyone sells 45 degree diamond EPP papers? I could only find 60 degree diamond papers.
Linking up with Work In Progress Wednesday with Lee. Thanks for stopping by!
