Over the past month or so I’ve been squirreling away Anna Maria Horner Velveteen. I’ve mentioned several times wanting to recover nine pillows in my living room. For some reason, these pillow covers have been daunting. Case in point? I’ve started three different quilty pillow covers. But, none are finished.
So it seemed obvious and easy (almost like cheating!) to just make simple pillow covers out of my favorite Anna Maria Velveteen prints. I saw similar pillows at Anna Maria‘s market booth (I can’t find a pic, sorry!)
The velveteen is so luscious and worthy of naps. Infrequent as they may be.
See how the fuzz beckons? Pet me! Nap here!
These are my favorite pillows. I’m still planning of making five or so patchwork pillows. And it would be nice to do some smaller pillows of the tapestry type. But, maybe I’ll find more favorite Velveteens for easy pillows.

Isn't it gorgeous? I love the pillow I made for my sewing room out of her pink and red Coordinate velveteen. Of course, my oldest daughter then "borrowed" it to use on her desk chair during school… ๐
