This has nothing to do with my post, but these are my favorite flowers. Lilies! They smell so great. I had my husband buy me some when I picked up some groceries the other day.

Anyways, so February. My goals for this month are to make some pillows for my couch. I’ve actually already started two pillows for my couch. But I wasn’t quite satisfied with them. They are cute and all, but I wanted something with a little bit more pop and sizzle. So I’m changing directions, again.
I really love colorful things and the Lonestar has long been a favorite. My mom made a really pretty one. (Maybe she can snap a pic with her phone and send it to me so I can show you, mom?) My guild-mate Mona showed a beautiful one at our last HMQG meeting. So this pillow, I think, is my winner. I hope to make a few more. (There are lots of pillows to recover on my couch.)
Any thoughts on how I should quilt it?
I also would like to finish a dress using this Anna Maria Horner Rayon Challis. It’s luxurious. The pattern is the Socialite Dress, also by AMH. I’m planning to make the version shown on the back. Maybe I can wear it to QuiltCon!

I hope you all have a good week!

Love that cushion cover. Maybe some outline quilting.
Good luck getting everything you want done this week

I'm glad to have found your blog through the link up! The cushion cover is beautiful! I really want to try using that AMH rayon too – I've never made clothes for me – only for my daughters but with that fabric . . .
