Not that I am always this productive, but I was under a deadline to finish this quilt by today. This baby is off to a good home. I hope. 🙂 Next week you can find me napping more or on the couch doing hand work. (Whew!)
I made this quilt to *help* me write a tutorial and pattern for this quilt. I hope to have it up by next week. (Edited to add:) Here’s the tutorial. I just have to put the finishing touches on it. But since this quilt, “Katie Squared”, is up and out I wanted to be sure I documented it.
Katie Squared quilt, a photo by bryanhousequilts on Flickr.
She measures 52 inches by 52 inches and is made of two Ruby charm square packs and Kona white yardage. She is quilted with a stipple pattern.
The back, like a racing stripe. |
Can you see the quilting? no? Darn it! I’m still working on my photography skillz. |
So, she is off and ready to be snuggled and napped under. Or drug about the house with a wee, pudgy fist. Or draped across someone’s lap with a red bowl of popcorn resting a top her while they watch a movie (a romantic comedy? surely not a horror flick?)
And I will be napping.
