It’s that time of year! Finished Modern Triangle Block of the Month (BOM) quilts are starting to pop up after a year of triangle progress! This year we worked on the Solstice BOM.
And you know what that means… once you have a finished quilt top… the inevitable next question is… how do I quilt it?!
Well say no more, because this year I collaborated with quilt artists to create a rich showcase of quilting ideas for the Solstice BOM. Each artist created a different mock up of how they might quilt the Solstice quilt and I’m excited to share each artist with you here!
Today, I’d like to introduce you to Andi Stanfield!

MEET ANDI STANFIELD!
Andi Stanfield of True Blue Quilts started quilting in 2004 when her mother opened a quilt store. Soon, she was designing patterns and purchasing a longarm. Since then, she quit her job teaching high school math to pursue quilting full time. Her “Big & Bright” quilt was featured on the cover of McCall’s Quilting in July 2020. Of course, Andi still makes time to quilt for Mom and they are collaborating on more quilts.
