Hello! Today I’d like to share my finished Solstice quilt top. This is the BOM (block of the month) we’ve been working on inside the Make Modern Triangles program this year and it is so fun to finally start seeing these beauties become quilts!

A few weeks ago, I took the above picture at one of our favorite wineries, Chandler Hill. But this week, I did a little video reveal on Facebook Live from my back deck. How could I not? Perfect fall weather, gorgeous fall trees? Yes please!
Afterwards, I snapped this casual photo on my Solstice BOM quilt with my dog, Alfred, on our back deck. (He was a good, happy boy and sat for his treat!) I shared this photo on the ‘gram and it quickly became one of my most liked photos.
I guess it’s no shocker that sharing a finished quilt top next to a big fluffy dog will be a hit!
If you’re curious about that giant fluffy creature, my dog is Alfred the Leonberger. He is Bruce Wayne the Weiner Dog’s (big!) little brother. He weighs 130 pounds (so far!) and yes, I vacuum everyday, sometimes twice!
Ok, taking notes: Finished quilt top + goofy fur baby + fall tree = Instagram hit!
I think I can do that! 😉
