Shiver me timbers! I had a tough time this week. My points didn’t come out perfect and that bothers me. I’m going to try the paper piecing route with the blocks that have small triangles from now on. I hear that helps!
Argh!
(Blocks (are supposed to) measure 4.5 by 4.5 inches)
Block #18 Century of Progress
Block #21 Contrary Wife
Block #22 Corn and Beans
Block #29 Economy
This purple block is the only one that makes me smile. Look at the points and the color, hooray! And I remembered to fussy cut it on point. But not before I fussy cut it not on point. (My daughter has a new purple mini-pillow for her dollhouse bed! ha!)
Once, the blocks are mixed in with the other blocks, I like them better. π Don’t worry. I’m over it and am moving on! I can see that I need more yellow, but sadly I don’t carry a lot of yellow in my stash. Guess I’ll have to go shopping. π Oh darn.

I can see you are greatly saddened by the need to go fabric shopping. Just remember, it's not like going to pick out a puppy/kitten where you have to keep telling yourself that you can't take them all home. Well, ok, it is, but I've heard wine and chocolate helps π
You have some lovely blocks here, I really like your rainbow idea. The great thing about this quilt is picking out combos you love, then seeing someone elses and thinkin "ooh, why didn't I think of that"
