Well, this is pretty cool! I’m a part of the 2018 Aurifil Design Team. And I am in good company, too. Look at all these lovely folks I get to collaborate with next year!

I’m also pretty stoked about the theme for 2018, “The Places We Go”. Each blocks will be inspired by a place the designer has visited or wants to visit. Designer blocks will be in Black/White & a color of their choice (One color! How can I pick one!?)

You won’t see my block until August. Until then, I get to let inspiration strike me as I walk and cycle in my new hometown. *Pinch me!* Truthfully, a lot of time might be spent on picking that *one* color, ha!

 

Details of the Challenge!

Each Month the lovely Mrs. Pat Sloan will be interviewing each designer. Look for new blocks and articles on the 15th of each month. You then have one month to make the block and enter at Pat’s website to be in running to win a whole BOX of thread!

 

Thank you to Aurifil and Pat for organizing this fun challenge. I’m looking forward to participating but also seeing the other designer’s blocks and reading their interviews. 🙂
