Hi all!
My Orb Medallion pattern is now available (fo’ free!) over on Lecien’s newly design blog. The Orb Medallion features Lecien’s new Wa! pre-cut circles, which are available in 2.3”, 3”, and 5”.
Of course I couldn’t resist playing with a rainbow arrangement.
In the pattern I teach you my “top-stitch appliqué” technique, though you are most welcome to use your personal favorite technique.
For my quilt top, I used Lecien’s yarn-dyed linen, which is linen-licious! Lecien sent me 3 choices, black, charcoal, or cream, and gosh each one is gorgeous! I chose the cream color for the back and black for the back.
For the quilting, I echoed the medallion design by playing with nested tear drops and pebbles.
Then, right when I got to quilt market last October, I made my friend Sari hold the quilt in her faaaaabulous heals! (Thanks for humoring me, girl!)
I hope you enjoy Lecien’s new Wa! circle precuts and don’t forget to grab a copy of the (free!) Orb Medallion quilt pattern.

This is a gorgeous quilt. I’m a new quilter and I love the circles but I cannot find the free pattern. Where can I find it?
