Today is the last day of the Modern Rainbow blog tour. I hope you found something to inspire you along the way. I know blog tours can get a bit saturated, but I really enjoy seeing person’s creative take on the same patterns and ideas.
I’ve got one more book to giveaway, hard copy if the winner is in the US or electronic copy if the winner is abroad. To enter leave a comment on this post; I’d love if you would tell me what you are planning to sew next? I’ll pick a winner this Sunday!
Thank you for tuning in!
A big big BIG thank you to all of my lovely peeps who help me along the way:

I've got a stack of blocks I finished yesterday in both of Rashida Coleman-Hale's Cotton+Steel lines (and some Kona Ash) so I'll be squaring and laying out my top. If I'm really lucky I may even have enough time to piece it together!
Patricia says
As a new quilter, I have loved seeing how the real quilters use color and the projects and quilts. Inspiration gained.
Diane says
Honestly, what I'm going to sew next is a little boring… I have to do a ton of repairs and hems on a stack that has been steadily building. After that, I might make a new summer tote! ๐

Thanks for putting together this blog hop, I enjoyed seeing all the bloggers' projects! And the book looks great! I just made a test block for a star quilt I saw in a magazine and I think it will be my next new project. Of course, I also have some things underway that I am going to work on as well.

I have allowed myself to become distracted lately with free motion applique, so must get back to my husband's drunkard's path sofa quilt before our wedding anniversary. It's dark blue, grey, and white. I'll be looking to your book for some color after that.
Amy says
I'm going to finish a paper pieced star quilt that I am very excited about.

I've so loved following this blog, and I'm a person that tried to never "color outside of the lines", if you know what I mean. So to see the other bloggers takes on some of the projects in your book was inspiring to me to try to come up with my own creative spin on one of the projects. Although I don't know how I could come up with anything better than you have for that FLAME quilt – I am just IN LOVE with it! I do love Giucy Giuce's take, and looks like the perfect table runner to me! As far as my next project, I need to finish hemming four layers (countem' FOUR) of satin and chiffon up about 6 inches on my granddaughters prom dress! I'd love to do anything, including EPP, other than that! LOL! Except I love her dearly, and of course she looks fabulous in the dress.
Thanks!

This has been such a satisfying blog-hop. I've met a few new quilters and really enjoyed seeing all these glorious rainbow quilts along the way. I am making improv blocks, rainbow style, in my quest to reduce my overflowing scrap bins. If I get enough, into a quilt they go… then with leftovers (or if I run out of scraps – haha!) placemats and throw pillows. Thanks for everything!
