I was able to attend the Fall Quilt Market held in Houston a few weeks ago. Here’s my little recap…
The pictures speak for themselves, but I’ll touch on a few highlights.
I really enjoyed market, naturally! I also was able to go wander a bit around the actual Quilt Festival. I loved how the red and white quilts, made to celebrate Quilt Fest’s 40th anniversary, were hung way up high. They were all beautiful and magnificent especially hung like a crown above the convention center.
Did you see the owls? They are a new pattern coming soon from Heather Bailey.
It seems that looking at my pictures, I really loved Allison Glass’s booth. Allison had so much to see in her booth. It was neat to see how many people from the crafty world had helped her out to make all the pretty things. And she basically has her booth in rainbow order, which I obviously love. π
I also enjoyed Maureen Cracknell’s booth. And Maureen is just a delight in person and so truly talented! She won an award for her booth, which I’m sorry to say I wasn’t around to celebrate with her in person. But all the details she had in booth were so fun to look at.
