A few weeks ago, I finished my mini courthouse stairs quilt.
And then immediately put it to use as a table topper and then promptly dripped iced coffee on it. (This is why we can’t have nice things.)
I really enjoyed hand quilting this little mini. I mostly quilted it with matching pink; but I also tried to mix in a little bit of black. The effect is super subtly, but I really like the idea. I might try to explore the idea of using different colors of thread on a larger scale. Someday.
Previous posts about this mini can be found here and here.
I’m linking up to Finish it up Friday, with Crazy Mom Quilts, and I wish you all a great weekend!

I love it! Wonderful congrats with the black and white and bits of hand stitching.

Or "contrast" with black and white. But I guess congrats are in order as well for such a good finish 🙂

I absolutely love the pink thread on the black fabric! That really adds to the visual appeal!
I can't eat while wearing a white turtleneck. I will always spill on it. Always. So I giggled at your comment about not being able to have anything nice.
