Today I’m continuing my little Instagram series where I post a picture a day of my Great-Grandmother’s Dresden quilt.
Her name was Minnie and she was married to Cornelius. Together they raised 7 children – 2 boys and 5 girls. One of those girls was my grandmother, Florence.
At 79, Minnie passed away 4 days after my mother was born, generations briefly crossing in this world.
Some of the Dresden have plates that have been completely worn off.
And all of the colors have faded.
Yet it remains, lovely.
You can find the previous post here. And you can find me on Instagram here. I’ll share more next week. Have a great day!

What a treasure! My husband's grandmother has a dresden quilt that her mother made for her. It too is worn and faded from loving use, which I think makes it all the more valuable.

You created some reasonable aspects there. I looked on the internet for the difficulty and found most people will go along with together with your website.
Please, keep up the excellent perform and keep post subjects like this. I am really fan of your blog!
