Hi all! It’s once again time for Amy’s Blogger’s Quilt Festival.

This year, I’m entering my newly finished baby quilt for my own sweet youngest baby girl.
The inspiration and impetus behind this quilt truly escapes me. But I’ve had the fabric for quite a while. My baby girl needed a bigger quilt so I indulged her. 🙂
The quilt is a combination of these embellished printed dolly dresses (the dresses are each printed on the fabric and I went and added pockets, aprons, and embroidered trim or ric rac) and
patchwork blocks taken from this quilt top. (Yes, I ripped up a perfectly good quilt top!).
And be assured! My baby loves her quilt so much and it delights my heart to see her. Even though so much detail and time went into this quilt, I made this quilt to be loved and to be loved to bits. Quilts are made to love!

Thank you!
Super cute- both the quilt and the girlie. 🙂

Beauty! Love it!
Aw, it's you! Thanks Kate!
So cute and that last pic…. just gorgeous!!
Oh, this is so cute!
Such a cute and lovely quilt for your little girl! Love it!
Nice to oblige the little girl in your life. Cute dresses!
It's perfect! I cannot BELIEVE how adorable this is!! I think the black handquilting is the absolute perfect touch; I never would have thought of using such a dark color. And who cares about cutting up a quilt top when you make it better like that 🙂
So cute!
