A few weeks back, I sent my Tribute Star quilt to Denyse Schmidt so that she could use it to display at her schoolhouse session and in her booth to help promote her new fabric line, Florence.
Since I didn’t get to go to Portland to hand deliver it, I nervously packaged up my quilt (read mangled into a smaller than necessary cardboard box), wrote up a thank you note and sent it off to Denyse (squee!). Is it possible to not feel like a dork in these fan-girl moments? Please tell me no.
See it? Right down there in the corner? π
Yeah, it was pretty cool!
Thank you Denyse!

Becca! Love, love, love this quilt with the Florence fabrics. I'm slightly obsessed with Denyse's fabrics. Possibly hoarding a few sets of Chicopee fabrics right now – completely acceptable reaction to sending off a quilt to her – I would have squealed! I just started following you on bloglovin' too – excited to look around more at your other projects!

Awesome for sure! I had one bought up by a button company on the east coast from my etsy shop and they displayed it at International Quilt Market in Houston 2012. That was a thrill, but I think yours is better yet!!
