A few weeks back, I sent my Tribute Star quilt to Denyse Schmidt so that she could use it to display at her schoolhouse session and in her booth to help promote her new fabric line, Florence.
Since I didn’t get to go to Portland to hand deliver it, I nervously packaged up my quilt (read mangled into a smaller than necessary cardboard box), wrote up a thank you note and sent it off to Denyse (squee!). Is it possible to not feel like a dork in these fan-girl moments? Please tell me no.

Thank you Denyse!

I’m linking up to Let’s Get Acquainted Monday, because hey!? Let’s get acquainted.
Becca! Love, love, love this quilt with the Florence fabrics. I'm slightly obsessed with Denyse's fabrics. Possibly hoarding a few sets of Chicopee fabrics right now – completely acceptable reaction to sending off a quilt to her – I would have squealed! I just started following you on bloglovin' too – excited to look around more at your other projects!
My goodness, that's amazing – no wonder you were so excited!! Your quilt is stunning – how fab to have it at quilt market and on the DS booth!!
So cool, fan girl! 😉
eeeep!!! how exciting!
that's exciting! yup, no way to not feel like a dork in those fan girl moments. been there before 🙂
I think it's fantastic! Who wouldn't be excited?!
How fun! Your quilt's 15 minutes!
Awesome for sure! I had one bought up by a button company on the east coast from my etsy shop and they displayed it at International Quilt Market in Houston 2012. That was a thrill, but I think yours is better yet!!
You are such a rock star!!! It was super fun to see it in person!!! How about more for Fall Market?? We can go together!!! ♥
