Last Friday, my tired old late ’60s smokers’ delight kitchen was demoed to make room for a cleaner smelling, updated kitchen. (Hooray!)
Happily, amidst the stress of keeping kids out of the way and actually using the dining room for eating instead of sewing (boo!), I’ve been able to do some hand sewing. And hand sewing is a much needed treat.
Here’s the three stars I’ve added this week.
fabrics from Field Study, by Anna Maria Horner |
Purple from Field Study, Orange from Lizzie House |
Blue from Pearl Bracelets by Lizzie House, and Green is Sketchbook Roses by Amy Butler, |
The wildflowers are blooming here in Texas – bluebonnets and indian paintbrush – a lush mix of deep blue, bright red, and yellow. So, I’m calling these stars wildflowers. Each wildflower is English Paper Pieced, my absolute favorite type of hand sewing.
I’m linking up this week to Lee’s Work In Progress Wednesday.
I hope you each are having a great week!
