While working on finishing this quilt,
Sunshine! It’s been so long! |
I rewarded myself by taking breaks to work on other projects.
One project I started was a quilt using a jelly roll of Chicopee by Denyse Schmidt.
I tried to resist this line, but then my momma took me shopping to her quilt shop in St. Louis.
16 Patch Chicopee Blocks |
And well, I’m glad I didn’t resist too hard. I’m loving what I see so far!
The fabrics for the Madrona Road project are staring me in the face.
I’m having a hard time finding my mojo on this one.
I’m still not sure on the exact project, but the addition of a
touch of orange-y red and plenty of rich navy is inspiring me.
And that’s that!
I’m linking up with Lee’s Work In Progress Wednesday.
I’ll be back Friday to share my finished quilt. Yah!

I didn't think I would like those Chicopee fabrics but seeing them in your 16 patches has me thinking twice. Perhaps I need to find me some of that before it's too late.
Chris says
Resistance is futile so I say 🙂 Great fabrics.
