2012 brought some amazingly hard challenges but also fantastic blessings, namely a new baby and a new home. Along with the challenges and blessings, I was able to accomplish quite a bit, more than I thought. This is surely proof that sewing is therapy for me.

Surprisingly, there are nine finished quilts in that mosaic. Toward that later end of this year I dabbled in some smaller, non-quilty sewing. It was fun, but I’m ready to get back into making quilts.
Sharing my quilty journey on my blog with ya’ll has allowed me tremendous creative growth. As 2012 draws to a close, I feel I have found “my voice” and am happy with my little corner of the web. Going in to 2013, I feel I have a specific direction I want to take my craft. So thank you to all who read here.

To be perfectly honest, I am ready for some plain ole’ normalcy. What I hope for in 2013 is just spending time with my babies and my man in my house with some a lot sewing mixed in.
That’s pretty much what makes me happy!
Happy New Years Ya’ll!
