Hello everyone! I hope you all had a great Christmas! I’m so excited to finally share my Christmas makes with you.
Today’s shares are makes I made for my mom and Memaw.
First, a needlebook for my mom. This was actually supposed to be for her birthday present back in June. But my mom is a sweet and understanding person, so she didn’t mine too much a great backlog.
(sorry mom!)
In any case, here it is:

When I made my needlebook, my mom oohed and ahed over it. So I thought I’d be sneaky and make her one too, albeit not very sneaky like.
Appliqued on the front cover, is a tiny purple (my mother loves anything purple) English paper pieced star. It was so cute, I wanted to eat it. Or at least make more.

The back cover are all pieces of my favorite purple fabrics. The needlebook is hand quilted with my favorite perle stitchings. The inner parts and accent colors are gray.

The needlebook tutorial is from Amy at nanaCompany, who makes the cutest things.
I also made my mom and Mema jewelry pouches. They both love jewelry. My jewelry pouch I made for myself was a practice jewelry pouch. You have to make a practice one first, right? π
For my mom, purple. Again with the purple? Yes.
And for Memaw, a favorite floral.

I’ll be back tomorrow to share what I made my two oldest daughters.
