After weeks of not sewing with my machine, I’ve been getting antsy. Well friends the time has come for my sewing machine to resume its rightful place: on my dining room table. I had taken down my sewing room and supplies etc. because our house is on the market. It now seems that the Bryan House will be moving soon. As we seem to have a buyer (God willin’ and the creek don’t rise!), the house doesn’t have to be show ready AT ALL TIMES!
*sigh of relief*
So we can all play and be messy! Hooray!
And now that baby Noelle is 5 weeks old, I’ve found pockets of time to sew. I need to sew! It makes me happy.
So here are a few things I’ve been working on:
Binding Noelle’s quilt. I am one who dislikes hand stitching binding. But I have to do it for the scalloped edges. I’m just over halfway done.
Smallish blocks for Michelle and Design Camp [Think Outside the Block] Bee. Here’s one:
And some blocks for Tammy for a HMQG Small Projects Swap. (Am so behind!) Here are two:
Other than that Summer has started with a chorus of “I’m bored!” and “it’s too hot!” and “when’s the pool open?” and copious squabbling from the children. Oy! Where is my iced drink!?

Very nice works, sewing can be the calm in life's events. Keep up the good work and sew on!

I'm glad you all can let your guards down a bit & very glad you can spread our your sewing. (I wonder why realtors think a house has to look un-lived in in order to sell? Personally, I always liked seeing a bit of the 'life' in the house when we were house hunting.)
p.s. I think you should move next door to me!
