Amid taking care of my baby boy, I have found time here and there to work on a couple of quilts. One of these projects is Cora’s quilt for her bed. She has seen me make quilt after quilt but none have been for her. (Don’t worry she has plenty!)
Finally, I’m working on her quilt. But it has been a pain staking process filled with lots of tedious trimming. My process is to pair up a white and a charm square, draw a line down the middle of the white square, chain piecing the squares sewing down either side of the line, cut each square set down the line, iron seems open, square each HST to 4.75 inches
But, annoying as it is, trimming the half square triangles really help me get a perfect finish. Usually.
