I finished my Christmas Geese quilt! It felt so good to have it in the washer getting all crinkly and warm.
I learned so much making this quilt. It took me nearly a year. There are a bunch of things I would do differently. This quilt was so difficult to quilt. Mostly, I think because some of the seams were some thick that it confused my machine into skipping some stitches. I unfortunately had to alter my quilting pattern. (It’s quilted with a feather pattern that I had to expand to avoid the fat seams.) Wish I didn’t have to do that. But all in all, I really love my quilt.
The most remarkable part: I didn’t run out of white thread. (White thread on top, red on bottom)
And my quilt was immediately put into circulation. LOVE it.
Maybe, I can get some pictures to show some of the quilting detail. But for now, it’s being cuddled. 🙂 And maybe spit up on. 🙂
