I wanted to let you know that I have a new quilt pattern in Issue 19 of Modern Quilts Unlimited.
This is Bulletproof, which plays with 4” finished equilateral triangles (yah triangles!) and a gradient of blue to crelate a lovely chromatic effect. There is a bit of challenge in piecing the triangles, but also in a few Y-Seams. But there’s *only* 4 Y-Seams, so not that bad.
It’s so blue… I love it. It’s like I’m diving right on into the color! The fabrics I used are Alison Glass’s hand dyed indigo, which are so rich in color. (Thanks Andover!) But any gradient selection would look wonderful.
There’s also a bonus pattern for the mini version of Bulletproof available on MQU’s website. It’s just so pink! 🙂
